RF-to-USB Key
• RF-to-USB key is delivered with Windows drivers (Linux drivers soon available)
• Once driver first installed, the RF-to-USB key behaves as a plug’n’play standard removable device
• USB 1.1 high speed (USB 2.0 host compatible)
• Powered by PC (no internal battery)
• ¼ wave antenna
• Up to 800 m coverage in free space and up to 5 concrete walls with metallic structure penetration.
Ideal to address long distances or in-house buildings applications!!
The ¼ wave antenna is screwed to the Key thanks to a SMA connector. It is easily to connect other kinds of antenna in order to increase the range (see Antenna):
• ¼ wavelength Ground plane which enables to have a range up to 900m
• Yagi antenna which enables to have a range up to several kilometers
RF-to-RS232 Key
The bridge between Newsteo products and a Monitoring unit.
The key keeps the same characteritics than the RF-to-USB Key but allows connecting to a monitoring unit through its RS232 port.
Input voltage : 40 Volts max (on option, 60 Volts)
Communication speed: 115 200 bauds or 125 000 bauds (depending on product reference)
