Newsteo’s activity is divided into 3 branchs:

Telemetry

Newsteo proposes a solution for wireless data transfer for different kinds of applications: traceability, identification, supervision…

The products of the Newsteo range are aimed to control, for example, the temperature, the humidity, the shocks in different areas / environments (supervision of food, drugs…).

Newsteo has also the expertise to develop a customised wireless solution (based on the specification of its customer), in case of a product aimed to be product in quantity.

Traceability

Newsteo has developed a wide range of active RFID Tags. These are used for goods or persons identification and traceability. They are adapted on demand to fit the customer's needs, dependant on the wanted autonomy, constraint, etc.

THE WORKERS safety

Newsteo launches a new range of wireless products to ensure the safety of people when they are working. The first product which will be launched is the Newsteo Secure: a true virtual lifeline that keeps you in contact with a lone worker, relaying alerts through a fixed transmitter (office, factory ...) or a transportable one (GPRS truck PLC, with or without GPS ...).
This wireless device, worn on the belt, with buzzer warning and emergency button, is operating on the basis of a powerful processor and a MEMS accelerometer of latest generation to interpret the movement or non-movement of his holder and to raise the alarm quickly.
It is rechargeable and its battery life of several months is unequaled for this type of products.

Newsteo history

October 2005:	Creation of Newsteo (under the initial name of Cyrlink)
June 2006:	Newsteo won the National competition for the creation of innovative technology companies, in category Creation - Development.
February 2007:	Newsteo launches its first range of data loggers for wireless monitoring of conditions of transport and storage of goods
May 2007 :	Newsteo increases its staff and moves to the industrial area of La Ciotat
December 2008:	Major fund raising for Newsteo with new shareholders: Sofipaca (venture capital company, subsidiary of Crédit Agricole) and two Business Angels clubs: Méditerranée Investissements (Nice) and Delta Grand Angels (Avignon)
April 2009:	The Smart Immo project which includes Newsteo is funded by the French state (project certified by the Secured Communicating Solutions Cluster).
June 2009:	Newsteo launches new range of loggers designed for easy interfacing of any type of sensor in harsh industrial environment.
June 2010:	Newsteo sells a new version of its monitoring software: the RF Monitor Gold. The Gold version allows combining in a single database measurements of loggers installed in different places and consulting them remotely.
